Hellcats is a new series that follows Marti (Alyson), a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks who, after losing her scholarship has no ochoice but to join the Hellcats, her college’s competitive cheerleading team.
Ashley Tisdale play Sierra, the captain of the Hellcats who realizes that her new roommate and team member Marti might just be the godsend the Hellcats need.

Interviewer: Did you suffer through the cheer scenes?
Matt: Have you seen these girls and what they’re doing? I wouldn’t call it suffering.
LOL.
Ashley also described her character Savannah as a team player, which makes me think that her and Marti become BFFs after the first episode. Maybe not right away, but I think that’s where they’re obviously taking the characters.
I like the new logo. It’s very sharp and impaction.
Aly Michalka looks stunning. Such power and emotion in a single still image. And I always enjoy Aly midriff.
Ashley Tisdale is a little more hidden than I would have liked, but my girl is lookin’ good as always. She’s showing quite a bit of leg in that short skirt, so I guess that makes up for the lack of Ashley midriff.
I guess they figured it would be just too hot if they both showed leg and midriff at the same time.
Aly and Ashley are back to filming Hellcats now. Acording to Aly, Monday the 13th was their first day back… “First day on the set of Hellcats:) filming today with matt barr. Xo aly”
She also tweeted this picture of her and Ashley Tisdale on set Wednesday.

Big News! Hellcats will premiere Wednesday September 8th at 9:00 PT on the CW.
And the CW had released a new trailer. Mostly scenes we’ve seen before, but still worth a look.

So I’m guessing Hellcats filming resumes next week. Can’t wait!
